According to The Daily Mail, West Brom are monitoring Bradley Dack as they look to follow up on their long-term interest in the player this summer.
What’s the word?
After appointing Slaven Bilic as their new manager, West Brom finally look as though they’re beginning to make moves in the transfer market.
Possible switches for Tolgay Arslan, Sam Byram and Carl Jenkinson could be on the cards but they’re now being linked with a more attack-minded player than those already mentioned.
The Daily Mail claim that the Baggies are monitoring Blackburn’s Dack who they say are long term admirers of the 25-year-old.
Albion’s original interest in the player spawned last summer when they had two bids rejected for the player.
The Sun reported that an initial £7m swoop for the attacking midfielder was rejected before a further £15m bid on deadline day was also knocked back.

Albion moving on from Gayle
With Dwight Gayle highly unlikely to return due to his wage demands, West Brom will need to find someone with goals in them.
The Newcastle man has now gone back to St James’ Park but there’s also a possibility that Jay Rodriguez could leave.
As a result, there could be a real lack of firepower in the Baggies’ team.
However, signing Dack would be a sign that they’re attempting to bring in players in order to make up for this.
He spent the majority of last season playing in an attacking midfield role as he scored 15 goals and also claimed seven assists in the Championship.
But he’s also capable of playing as a forward and should Rodriguez depart too, there is a possibility he could be utilised there.

West Brom fans were furious with the decision that they wouldn’t return for Gayle but bringing in a player like Dack could certainly help them forget about that.
Although not a natural striker, he’s shown in the past that he can play there and he definitely isn’t shy when presented with an opportunity in front of goal.
Judging by his record last campaign, this could be a player that takes Albion up a level next term.
