Fabio Capello was full of praise of England’s second string last night after a ‘fearless’ display at Wembley. It was a wholehearted display and certain performances have given the Italian boss food for thought for future qualifiers.
In the papers this morning there have been a mixed bag of stories that include Newcastle revealing the cost of the drop; Jonathan Woodgate hit with injury blow, while Sir Alex Ferguson will buy big this summer.
